How we do it in Maryland

I finally have some food to post! There is a guy with a trailer selling crabs on the side of the road about a mile from our house (sound tempting?). Occasionally we will get a big bucket and then Nick feasts for a week. We had bought these for my sister's visit to show her some local Maryland chow. Served with corn on the cob, french fries with old bay and watermelon. To make it more authentic you should have plenty of beer but we substituted diet cokes and keep 'em coming!

Those look delicious! Isn't weird that crabs (and other shell fish) are not red when they aren't..er...dead? Jake and I went to this Asian grocery store and they had a big box of live crabs crawling around. They looked pretty sickly, but Jake sure loved checking them out!

Hey! why didn't you invite us?! I love crab, especially when it's a feast! I love hearing what everyone is doing on both blogs.

Did you have lots of butter for dippin'? mmmmmmm...
